In the wake of the news that the UK has officially entered a double dip recession, a report released by the Chartered Management Institute reveals the concerns held by the UK’s managers and leaders about the current economic situation.

Recent research from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) has found that middle level managers in the UK are particularly feeling the pressure caused by the economic downturn.

Nearly half of UK managers (43%) are expecting further redundancies in 2012, and over a third of managers (38%) feel insecure in their jobs, according to the annual end of year research from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Over half of the managers surveyed felt that they would be unlikely to get another job if they were to be made redundant.
